Revived last summer after almost a decade, the Trilj Local Festival returns on 2 August with traditional river competitions, local food and a headline concert by legendary Croatian band TBF.
While Croatia's summer spotlight usually shines on the coast, one small town is becoming one of the country's most exciting festival destinations. The 9th Thrill Blues Festival once again brings world-class musicians to the heart of the Dalmatian hinterland.
From June to August, Trilj comes alive in the rhythm of the Cetina – a little further from the crowds, but much closer to authentic experiences. Festivals, traditional celebrations, sporting events, concerts, outdoor adventures and unforgettable local flavours await visitors looking to discover a different side of Dalmatia.
