St. Anthony Church. was mentioned in Archbishop Cupilli’s 1709 pastoral visit report as being covered with stone slabs and surrounded by a cemetery. The withdrawal of the Turkish troops in 1715 left the church heavily damaged. It was rebuilt in 1720 in such a manner that the old walls were preserved, while the nave was probably extended since the church received a disproportionately extended shape. A thorough renovation was conducted in 1863 when a sacristy was built on the side of the sanctuary. In 1958 a bell gable was added to the front facade. The church has a Gothic pointed arch.
